Rooted Women's Bible Study

Who Are We?
The Rooted Women's Bible Study is an interdenominational group of women from the Bucks/Mont area of Pennsylvania who gather together to study God’s Word.

What does that mean exactly? That means, you don’t have to go to a specific church to join us. There is no specific denomination, no specific age, no specific ethnic group.

What draws us together is our mutual love for the God of the Bible and the desire to know Him more through our study of God’s Word.

If you’re simply curious about the Bible and curious about the God of the Bible, OR if you’ve grown up knowing and studying the Bible but want to grow deeper in your understanding, this study is for you.

Come and see God as He reveals Himself through His Word! It will be an investment well worth your time!

What Is Our Purpose?

We become what we behold.  It is our longing that through the study of Scripture that we behold God. That as we study, we are not just growing in knowledge about how to live better lives, not just learning more information about God, but rather through the study of God’s Word, we are learning to grow in KNOWING HIM. And that it is through KNOWING Him, growing in intimacy with our Lord and Savior, that we grow in our love for Him and our obedience to Him.

What can I expect from these studies? When you come to Rooted, you can expect to be studying a book of the Bible. Our studies consist of three important elements: personal study, small group discussion, and teaching.

First there is your personal study time where you will spend time throughout each week engaged in the Bible, answering thought-provoking questions around the text for the week.

The second element is small group discussion. When we gather together on Monday evenings, the first portion of the evening is small group time (approximately 10 women are in each small group).

You will have the opportunity within those small groups to discuss together questions from your personal study time.

The final element is the teaching time. After your small group discussion time, all of the groups gather together for a time of teaching from the same portion of Scripture that you have been studying that week. We seek to bring clarity to the text, bring practical application and challenge to our lives, and in every passage we seek to learn more deeply about who God is.

When & Where do we meet?
We meet on Monday at either 9:30 am (child care provided) or 7:00 pm (no child care) for each 11 week study.  The fall study begins the first Monday after Labor Day. The winter study begins in mid-January.

Currently we are meeting at Ridgeline Community Church, 3100 Meetinghouse Road, Telford.
