Happy Monday! What a wonderful day it was to celebrate yesterday that our LORD did not stay dead! That He was raised to life again! And because He lives we too will live also!
Let’s read from Mark 16:1-11 this morning and again celebrate that we serve a God who is faithful to His Word, faithful to His promises! He is risen just as He said. What wonderful words these are - Just as He said. God’s Words are not like our words (hallelujah)! We say many things that we do not follow through with. But God is not like us. What He says is so. His Word is utterly true and right and can be depended on without doubt.Every promise of God is sure. Every judgment of God is true. The resurrection of Jesus is the fulfillment of all that God has said!
I speak these words out of trust and experience of what He is doing in my life. Take a moment and look back at the work He is doing in your life. The work He has started in you He has promised to complete. Can you see the work? Are you letting Him work? He did not raise from the dead just to give us another reason to celebrate (although we should) but He rose so that we can have confidence and trust in the work He is doing in us and in turn display His glory. So let us celebrate that Jesus is raised from the dead. Let us celebrate God’s faithfulness to His Word!
